Clean compressed air isn’t something to take for granted—it’s a safety issue. Moisture, oil vapors, or carbon monoxide in breathing air can pose serious health risks while diving, especially in cold waters where icing on the regulator is a real risk. That’s why we operate our filling station with a powerful L&W 570 ES II compressor and the highest quality standards—for breathing air you can rely on.

OUR FILLING STATION AT A GLANCE

  • L&W 570 ES II High-Pressure Compressor

  • Professional filter system for clean, dry breathing air

  • Air quality in accordance with DIN EN 12021

  • Fast filling times — short wait times

WHY AIR QUALITY IS SO IMPORTANT

Air filled using a poorly maintained compressor or inadequate filters may contain residual moisture. When diving in cold waters—such as the lakes in the Rhine-Main region—this can cause the regulator to freeze, which, in the worst-case scenario, can be life-threatening. A faulty filter can also introduce oil vapors, hydrocarbons, or carbon monoxide into the breathing air.

Our filling station is regularly maintained and the quality of the breathing air is checked so you can be sure of what’s in your tank.

  • Valid TÜV certification on the bottle (inspection date not expired)

  • Cylinder labeled exclusively with "compressed air," "breathing air," "breathing gas," "TG," or "AG"

  • Bottle in perfect condition — no rust, no mechanical damage

  • No bottles with a small conical valve

FULL PRICES

Table showing prices for various air compressors at 200 bar and 300 bar, costing €0.75 and €1.00 per liter, respectively

Prices are independent of bottle size and residual pressure. All prices include 19% VAT. Errors and price changes reserved.

The CLP Regulation (Classification, Labelling, and Packaging) has been in effect since June 1, 2015, and classifies all breathing gases as chemical mixtures subject to labeling requirements. This means that before the first refill, we will affix a CLP label to your cylinder. With each subsequent fill, a small address label is added to identify the last filler. This service is free of charge.
